Liberation Artist + Radical Archivist

I’m a Connecticut-based liberation artist, radical archivist, independent researcher, and caretaker of the Break the System Radical Archive. As a liberation artist, my practice goes beyond creating art for expression or aesthetic. It’s a methodology, a way of life that merges art, sociology, and lived experience to make collective liberation tangible by disrupting the very fabric of our society.
My work weaves art, memory, and the study of social movements to build towards collective liberation. Using poetry, prose, zines, guerrilla installations, and community organizing, I explore themes of anti oppression, resistance and systemic healing. I have a deep commitment to transformative justice, and through my work invite communities to reimagine the world through shared stories, abolitionist visions, and mutual care.

Creative Highlights
Break the System Archive is a radical archive + community press of zines, comics, protest ephemera and more spanning the 1970s to present. I’m the caretaker and curator of the archive, and operator of the press. It is an educational resource for organizers, artists, and activists fighting for liberation from systemic oppression. The community press offers zine design + production at accessible rates to collaborators, often sponsoring free/ low cost printing for Black Women + MaGes (marginalized genders) for zine fairs and events. I also produce my own zines and self publications via the press.
Free4ALL is a statewide, grassroots mutual aid network in Connecticut I launched in September 2024. It operates as a series of regional mutual aid hubs. Each regional hub or “distro” is shaped by the unique needs and offerings of its local community. We offer anything from material resources to support services. We also provide virtual support for those unable to access in-person resources, including 1:1 and group peer support via FreeCare. We’ve connected with 1000+ people since our launch last Fall.
Break The System: A Radical Archive debuted on October 26, 2024 in New London, Connecticut as an exclusive guerrilla art installation of zines, prints, and protest ephemera. We welcomed over 75 people from across the state for this one-day-only protest event.
